SIX CATEGORIES: Singer/Songwriter, Dearick Milton, Nominated in Multiple Categories

Dearick Milton has, once again, been nominated in multiple categories for the 2021 Gospel Choice Music Awards. Categories include:

• Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year

• Gospel/Religious Producer of the Year

• Gospel/Religious Songwriter of the Year

• Male Artist/Vocalist of the Year

• Song of the Year

• Video Project of the Year

"In 2003", Dearick recalls, "I attended the Gospel Choice Music Awards. It was the first award show I'd every attended and the group I sing with had been nominated. Although we didn't win that night, I remember thinking how wonderful the winners must have felt and that it would be a reality that I would never realize. After all, it wasn't a dream or aspiration for me. Never would I have thought that so many years later, I would be among the nominees, as a solo singer and songwriter, and with nominations in six categories. This just blows my mind because it is something that was not in my purview but a reality of what God had already planned for me, and without my permission", he laughed.
