Dearick Milton WINS Contemporary Christian Song of the Year at the 2019 Gospel Choice Music Awards

The 2019 Gospel Choice Music Awards were held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 29th. Among the list of nominees was Dearick Milton, who was nominated for Contemporary Christian Song of the Year for "Overcomers", a collaborative work he composed with Evangelists Darryl & P'Angela Jones.

"Overcomers" showcased a hybrid blend of Gospel and Rap/Hip-Hop, also known as Gospel Rap, and was recorded by Joseph Robinson & The Chosen Aggregation, of Atlanta, Georgia, featuring Evangelist Darryl Jones' hyped rap skills on the mic.
